Steve Nolan

I am a Lecturer in Economics at Liverpool John Moores University. I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester in 2021.

My research interests are in political economy and applied microeconometrics, immigration and issues of inequality in the labour market.

My work is concerned with the interaction between nationalist populism and attitudes towards immigration. I am also looking at the transition of young ethnic minority people into employment and training.

I am module leader on a course in Contemporary Economic Policy.
